“Our family decided to establish this Award because gastronomy represents an essential component of our historical and cultural heritage. The Caputo Award has undertaken a journey together with the young participants, following in the footsteps of our products, chefs, pizza chefs and pastry chefs, who have brought the Neapolitan way of cooking to the world. Only young people, with their art, with their clean, innovative gaze, which knows how to communicate to other young people, can represent all this and what Naples really is, a city full of nuances that deserve to be told. Today, thanks to these works, our dream has come true. The young artists have accomplished something extraordinary: Naples is and must remain a volcano of ideas, culture and emotions, expressions of true quality” – Antimus Caputo, CEO of Mulino Caputo.
